ABOUT
Rodan Tekle is a post-production artist and creative lead who builds both films and the systems that carry them, working between experimental documentary and fashion, beauty, and cultural brands. Based in New York City, she operates across independent research-driven projects and high-end brand environments, designing post-production and delivery frameworks that translate creative intent into durable, scalable, and well-governed content.
With an undergraduate degree in Theater Arts Technology from Malmö University in Sweden and a Master’s in Computer Arts from SVA in NYC, Rodan brings a systems-oriented approach to storytelling, shaping both the form of the work and the structures that support how it is produced, delivered, and archived. Her practice spans editing, post-production leadership, digital asset design, and creative direction across collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
Currently, Rodan is developing a collaborative, interwoven film project exploring Black cultural print production through a digitally forward cinematic lens. The work engages overlooked and radical publications situated at the intersection of outsider status and cultural relevance, reflecting on displacement, resilience, and creative agency, while extending her broader interest in how cultural narratives are preserved, circulated, and sustained over time.
